Home teeth whitening products can cause damage to the mouth

Two-thirds of the 25 teeth whitening products that the Danish Environmental Protection Agency investigated did not comply with the regulations in this area and half posed a risk of irritation or corrosion in the mouth. All the products were for home use and all were purchased from Danish or foreign webshops. When using these products, you risk, in the worst case, etching your gums.
