Risks from chemicals in baby diapers have not been proven 

ECHA's Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) cannot conclude whether certain chemicals found in disposable baby nappies pose a risk due to insufficient scientific evidence. The conclusion has led to an evaluation of the proposal to restrict the use of formaldehyde, PAHs, dioxins, furans and PCBs in baby nappies across the EU.
