Labels

What is a label?

A label is the legally required text that must accompany your product.

There are different labels - depending on whether it is:

  • A chemical product (hazard label cf. the provisions of Article 17 of CLP (1272/2008)
  • Cosmetics
  • Cleaning supplies
  • And many more.

Mediator can help you prepare your label according to current legislation with the statutory text according to current guidelines. You should be aware that your labels are subject to different legislation depending on the type of product in question.

Mediator is always up to date with current legislation. You can expect your labels to contain the required text and have the correct size and possibly necessary hazard pictograms, tactile warning and child-resistant closure.

You need to be aware of whether your products are for B2B or B2C.

Mediator also offers quality assurance of your labels – i.e. checking your graphic material, so you are sure that your labels comply with the legislation before you print them and apply labels to your products. It can be costly to have to recall products.

If you are in doubt whether your labels comply with applicable legislation, you are welcome to contact Mediator – info@mediator.as // one.
