What is a chemical workplace assessment – ​​chemical APV?

The chemical APV is a chemical Risk assessment of a product or a work process where chemicals are used. The chemical APV must ensure that it is safe for the user to use chemical products in the individual work process.

• Education.

The chemical APV is a chemical risk assessment of the hazardous properties of the product and the possible exposure of the user to the product. It is therefore important to be aware that in future you will not have to prepare a workplace instruction manual per substance, but rather you will have to prepare a chemical APV per substance. process or per product. 

If the chemical risk assessment identifies factors that need to be changed or improved, this must be described in the action plan for the general APV.

Every time changes are made – for example, if the supplier changes the composition of the chemicals used, if new chemicals are switched to, or if the workflows of the process are changed, the chemical APV must be reassessed.
