Public consultation: Alternatives to ethanol under the REACH substitution criterion
Ethanol, which is applied for in PT01 (Human hygiene), PT02 (Disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct use on humans or animals) and PT04 (Food and feed), meets the substitution criterion. The active substance is therefore submitted for public consultation and information on alternatives is requested.
