New PFAS finding in jackets confirms need for Danish ban

A new study published by the Danish Consumer Council Think Chemistry shows that 13 out of 17 jackets purchased on Temu, Shein and Amazon contain PFAS. The high number is further evidence that Danes are at risk when buying from sellers outside the EU. The study also highlights the need for the Danish ban on PFAS in clothing and shoes, which the government has decided to introduce.
