New EU regulation on detergents
The EU has updated the rules for detergents with new requirements for, among other things, microorganisms, digital labeling and biodegradability. The regulation entered into force on 22 March 2026, but will not apply until 23 September 2029, giving companies time to adapt products and labeling.
