Environmentally friendly detergent
The Environmentally Friendly Detergent project aimed to develop sustainable surfactants with an efficiency equal to or higher than the traditionally used surfactants while eliminating the formation of 1,4-dioxane. 1,4-dioxane, which has the CLP classification 'carcinogen 2', is produced in small quantities during the production of classic common surfactants for detergents.
