Good hand hygiene can boost the Danish economy, new study shows

A new analysis by the Cosmetics & Hygiene Industry shows that Denmark can reduce the number of days of sick leave by 1,6 million days simply by maintaining good hygiene habits and remembering to use hand sanitizer. 1,6 million sick days per year corresponds to a labor supply of 8900 full-time employees, which will give the Danish economy a boost of 7,1 billion kroner per year.
