The EU is phasing out the use of microplastics in a number of products over a number of years

Plastic particles with a size below 5 x 15 mm are prohibited in a wide range of products where there is a risk that they can be released into nature. For some products, there will be requirements for labeling or disposal instructions. The product types cover products as diverse as cosmetics, cleaning agents, polishes, air fresheners, biocides and plastic sheets.
