ECHA study finds toxic chemicals in childcare products
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has found that substances that cause cancer, genetic mutations or damage reproduction are present in childcare products such as car seats, bibs and changing mats. Its investigation will help the European Commission draw up an EU-wide restriction to limit these chemicals in order to protect children.
