ECHA adds three hazardous substances to the Candidate List
The Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) now contains 250 entries for chemicals that may harm humans or the environment. Companies are responsible for managing the risks of these chemicals and providing customers and consumers with information on their safe use.
The three new drugs;
- 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-[(
trimethylsilyl)oxy]trisiloxane – Used in laboratories, cosmetics, personal care and perfumes - Decamethyltetrasiloxane – Found in cosmetics, lubricants and car care products
- Reactive Brown 51 – Used in textile finishing and dyes
