ECHA announces next step for PFAS restriction proposal
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has just published the work programme for the consideration of the PFAS restriction proposal. The PFAS restriction proposal is currently being assessed by ECHA's Scientific Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) and Socio-economic Analysis (SEAC). Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway, which submitted the restriction proposal, will simultaneously re-assess the proposal, based on new information from 5642 consultation responses submitted in the public consultation.
