Home » Unreported work accidents: New campaign from the Danish Working Environment Authority tightens reporting requirements
Many minor work injuries, such as a sprained ankle or a cut, are never reported, according to a new study from the Danish Labour Inspectorate. This is due, among other things, to confusion about when an work injury is serious enough to be reported, as well as a lack of knowledge about work accidents.
The campaign aims to ensure that all reportable accidents at work are reported. The campaign will be run under the slogan: Report the accident and prevent the next one.
To prevent accidents at work and create a safer working environment, it is important to have knowledge about what causes both accidents and near misses. This knowledge is best achieved by reporting all accidents.
