Everyone in the EU must contribute to combating deforestation.

We must all take part. We must avoid climate change and create better biodiversity.
This is done by banning selected products that contribute to deforestation.
If you trade in soy, palm oil, coffee, cocoa, natural rubber, cattle and wood or derived products such as leather, chocolate, glycerol, stearin, palmitate, cardboard boxes or paper, you must ensure that the products are produced in a proper manner.
You must prepare a due diligence statement, which must be uploaded to a common system. A requirement that applies whether you are an importer or a dealer.
